Create dependable contracts between systems

API Development and Systems Integration in College Station

We build APIs and integration services that let websites, applications, databases, ERP systems, CRMs, commerce platforms, and reporting tools exchange information reliably. The work can use direct APIs, webhooks, scheduled jobs, middleware, or connector-based iPaaS platforms such as Boomi when that approach fits the operation.

Define the contract and system ownership first.

We identify the business event, source system, destination, fields, identifiers, timing, volume, permissions, and expected response. The contract specifies required data, validation, error formats, version behavior, and what counts as successful completion.

This prevents two systems from becoming competing sources of truth and keeps a connection from being designed around whatever a connector happens to expose. Business rules lead; transport and tooling follow.

Choose direct APIs, middleware, or iPaaS deliberately.

A direct REST API or webhook can be efficient for a focused product connection. A small middleware service may be better when transformation, orchestration, or custom rules are substantial. Boomi and other integration-platform-as-a-service tools can add reusable connectors, mapping, governed deployment, monitoring, and operational ownership for a broader integration program.

We compare licensing, supported connectors, authentication, data residency, throughput, transformation, observability, maintainability, and team skills. The familiar logo is not automatically the simplest architecture, a fact software sales brochures tend to discover only after purchase.

Engineer for duplicates, delays, and failure.

Reliable integrations validate input, use stable identifiers, protect secrets, limit permissions, handle pagination and rate limits, and prevent duplicate side effects when a request is retried. Long-running work may use queues, checkpoints, or asynchronous status instead of holding a fragile request open.

Logs, alerts, correlation identifiers, retry rules, dead-letter handling, reconciliation, and administrative recovery are designed according to consequence. Documentation covers the contract, credentials, environments, deployment, ownership, and what an operator should do when the happy path resigns.

API and integration development can include

  • System ownership, event, field, identifier, and contract design
  • REST APIs, webhooks, middleware, queues, and scheduled synchronization
  • Boomi or other iPaaS connector configuration and process development
  • Authentication, validation, transformation, retries, logs, and alerts
  • Testing, reconciliation, recovery controls, documentation, and handoff

Common questions

Before you choose a direction.

Do you work with Boomi connectors?

Yes. Boomi connector and process work is generally part of iPaaS or enterprise application integration. We can use it for suitable ERP, CRM, commerce, data, and application connections.

Should we use an iPaaS platform or custom code?

It depends on available connectors, number of systems, orchestration, transformations, monitoring, licensing, team ownership, and the amount of genuinely custom behavior. We compare those factors before choosing.

Can you build an API for our existing application?

Often. We first review its data model, authentication, permissions, business rules, performance, hosting, and consumer needs so the new interface does not expose unsafe or unstable internals.
