I have a site where i have a taxonomy term, i want to set a default value to the term name and display it when the form loads. The user should be able to overwrite this value and submit the form with current value. In hook_form_alter, i tried to set the value(consider i have set the name as ‘check term name’) in the form. The form loads with this value but even after changing the value in the textfield, the form gets submitted with the set value only i.e. ‘check term name’. This is what i tried: $form[‘name’][‘widget’][0][‘value’][‘#value’] = ‘check term name’; But this name is not getting changed even after editing the form. How can i achieve this requirement? Thanks in advance.
