Pixeldust designed and developed an interactive user interface for Sun Microsystem’s sales force training collateral. As a follow-on project, Pixeldust was asked to design a set of product icons for Sun’s xVM software line. The product icons were designed using Maya, a very powerful 3D imaging software program used primarily for special effects in movies, modeling objects, and characters in video games. Following the success of the project, Pixeldust was invited to become a Sun design partner.

Other technologies include the Java platform, MySQL and NFS. Sun is a proponent of open systems in general and Unix in particular, and a major contributor to open source software.
