For reasons I am stuck on a Drupal 7 website probably beyond the v7 end of life. It has lots of contributed modules and I’ve built some of my own and also created a custom subtheme (based on a theme before Bootstrap was commonplace).
I have been tasked with a design and architecture overhaul. To do this adequately, I really need to be on Bootstrap 4. The solidity of the Bootstrap theme is awesome, but it’s Bootstrap 3. There is a Bootstrap4 theme but to say it’s underwhelming is an understatement.
I have been all over the web and the Drupal site and I am having difficulty finding a solid Drupal 7, Bootstrap 4 theme. I don’t care about the bells and whistles (it’s fine if they’re there — I’ll just ignore them). What I’m really after is all the basic templates built to the Bootstrap 4 spec. Yes, I could do this on my own but 1) I’m pressed for time, and 2) I’m a Bootstrap newbie so I was really hoping that I could find a solid base that a Bootstrap-savvy person had built and then I could add my wobbly Bootstrap customizations as a sub-theme.
It doesn’t have to be a free theme. I’ll pay for it out of my own pocket if need be (I work for a County-based library consortium so getting money can be challenging). Does such a unicorn exist?
Thank you!
