Layout Builder isn’t uninstallable in Drupal 9 and it makes me anxious

I am not a PHP programmer and/or SQL programmer.

I’ve installed Drupal 9 latest version about three months ago on a principally all core website without any customizations (core, theme, module or content), and yet, after enabling the Layout Builder core module I couldn’t uninstall it due to some bug and that made me anxious.

If I am not mistaken I tried to remove any DB table associated with it via PHPMyAdmin but that made the website to crash and I couldn’t recover it so I had to start from scratch.

I need to start a new Drupal 9 project but I am afraid that this problem still exist or would still exist if I migrate from Drupal 9 to Drupal 10 in August.

Is the only way to prevent this problem is avoid using Layout Builder?
