More of a general best practice question. I’m dealing with a plant content type that currently contains a paragraph field: "common name." The paragraph contains an entity reference to "common name" and an "origin" text field (with the setting to create if it doesn’t already exist). My reason is common names can apply to numerous plants.
But… before I add data, I’m wondering if ‘taxonomy’ is better for common names? Which takes up less memory? I don’t need any more fields than the body that exists on both.
I don’t need any hierarchy. Just a simple way to create, reference and view page for that common name, and show any scientific names related.
Help! I’m second-guessing myself.
