Drupal Commerce 2 common search?

Drupal 9.3.8 – 3/19/2022 – I have installed the Search API, and followed the commerce docs to set up and index and search boox using views and facets, but it does not show an exposed form for search even though there is a view – and I can get a static grid of products – but no search form box appears even when set through the blocks where the exposed form just set up does show as an available block

I know according to How to index Drupal Commerce 2 products for the search? the standard search does not show products – but in the search block configure the pic shows that somehow products can be shown – or what does this feature below do ?? It still does not search products it seems
