In case you missed the news from September, Drupal Update announced the end of life dates for both Drupal maintenance support plans 7 & 8. The date for both Drupal maintenance support plans 7 & 8 is slated for November of 2021, and that may seem strange, but it really makes sense given the differences in 7 & 8 and the widespread usage of 7. Drupal maintenance support plans 8 is ending alongside Symfony 3 which powers a lot of the underlying framework of Drupal maintenance support plans 8, so that makes perfect sense.
