Drush Fails & Composer not running properly on shared hosting and outdated [closed]

Server is set up to use cPanel & Softaculous (they do the initial install of Drupal).

It appears to install fine and some composer installs seem to work ok too, but others don’t do all they are suppose to. For example CiviCRM won’t install successfully in www, but if I go to ../ it will work, but not install the module to the correct dir. (tried running updates, etc., but no permissions for that. Dir = 775). Also, Composer is outdated.

The biggest problem lies with Drush. Can’t get it to do anything (though I could find it after I finally got it installed). bash: drush: command not found. I can go to the /vendor/drush or /vendor/bin directory, no help.
