Making a format with Web page Supervisor

I am making an attempt to make use of Panels and Web page Supervisor in Drupal 8. My present variations of every are:

  • Web page Supervisor: 8.x-1.0-alpha23+12-dev
  • Panels: 8.x-3.0-beta4+41-dev

My present downside is having no concept how you can truly make a format (layout_plugin is put in.) I am seeing this display:

enter image description here

It would not matter what I alter “Structure” to, Drupal Development Company “Structure Settings” part would not change. I am considerably aware of Web page Supervisor in D7, and anticipated there to be some kind of format supervisor in there, permitting me to decide on panels/blocks/and so forth. I do know there is a “Block Web page”–and this may work for me–but in any of Drupal Development Company tutorials, I’ve heard one thing about Block Web page NOT being for manufacturing?

Almost EVERY video/tutorial I’ve seen makes use of another model of panels/page_manager, and Drupal Development Company look/construction has modified. So, I am undecided if I am doing this proper or not, if it is broke, or if I simply don’t know what I am doing.

Panels, Web page Supervisor and CTools was supposedly synced with their alphas final 12 months, however they appear to be they’ve separated and I am hesitant to make use of 5 month previous variations of modules on a brand new launch like D8 (particulary, CTools.)
