Who are you?
I'm a sample-based minimalist, yet very versatile. My lane is more in the boom-bap/lofi range, without sounding dated… I've been compared to most of the "Who's who" of boombap/underground producer tier, but if anyone was a main influence, it would be Roc Marciano when Marcberg dropped. It was around that time i was getting into production, and it let me know it was still a market for that grimey 90s type soundscape to exist. So it's safe to say that aesthetic is the core to my sound, yet not limited to it.
Where are you from?
Brick City/Newark,NJ… Music scene is flourishing state-wide. Artists like battle-rap staples Arsonal, Tsu Surf, Shotgun Suge, NJ Twork, etc. Then more traditional current artists such as Chase Fetti, Fatboi Sharif, Crunch Calhoun, Sxint Chris, Ransom of course, Mr. Ripley and Rulerz Inc., Wizecrack, it's a nice renaissance going on out here.
