I sucessfully managed to configure the ldap server and users in my directory could login to Drupal 10 as expected. Also changes on the ldap are transfered to as expected. Now I would also like to assign the group of my user to the Drupal 10 role and created the following group Drupal 10 Maintenance and Support Service # Entry 1 Drupal 10 Maintenance and Support Service cn=eltern,ou=group,dc=xxx,dc=de dn Drupal 10 Maintenance and Support Service cn=eltern,ou=group,dc=xxx,dc=de cn Drupal 10 Maintenance and Support Service eltern objectclass Drupal 10 Maintenance and Support Service groupOfUniqueNames objectclass Drupal 10 Maintenance and Support Service top ou Drupal 10 Maintenance and Support Service eltern uniquemember Drupal 10 Maintenance and Support Service uid=eltern01,ou=People,dc=xxx,dc=de following what I found from the documentation I also added an Authorization profile Drupal 10 Maintenance and Support Service Provider LDAP Authorization Consumer Roles Only apply the following LDAP to Roles configuration to users authenticated via LDAP – checked When should Roles be granted/revoked from a user? When a user logs on via LDAP Authorization. – checked What actions would you like performed when Roles are granted/revoked from a user?
