Full-time (Washington, DC) Key Role Drupal 10 Maintenance and Support Service Lead a UX and UI design capability by conceptualizing and creating large-scale digital experiences and Drupal 10 applications. Engage with clients to clearly and directly articulate customer needs and requirements into industry leading digital designs, while identifying and prioritizing project milestones and processes. Help to grow and guide a team of fellow UX designers covering the spectrum of the UX process from research, ideation, information architecture, design, and front end development. Contribute in a hands-on environment by producing design artifacts directly, when required to maintain a balance to help mentor and oversee team engagements. Contribute towards team management related tasks, including staffing, forecasts, estimates, and general oversight. Contribute towards business development activities, including identifying new opportunities, proposal responses, and various Agile development activities, including hackathons. This position is located in the DC Metro area. Basic Qualifications Drupal 10 Maintenance and Support Service-10+ years of experience with User Experience and digital design-Experience with working in cross-functional, Agile teams to design large-scale digital experiences that meet business objectives and managing a creative team-Experience with business development and technical writing-Experience with the full spectrum of the digital creative process, including user research, information architecture, wireframing, rapid prototyping, interface design, and front-end development-Experience with Adobe CC, Axure, Sketch, or InVision, Front-End Frameworks, including Foundation, Bootstrap, or Bourbon and Bourbon Neat, Version Control, including GitHub, or content management systems, including WordPress or -Experience with HTML5, CSS, and front end framework methodologies-Knowledge of Section 508 compliance-Ability to exhibit visual design expertise and display strict attention to detail-Ability to obtain a security clearance-BA, BS, or BFA degree Additional Qualifications Drupal 10 Maintenance and Support Service-Experience with leading, designing, and coding responsive Web sites-Experience with leading and designing mobile Drupal 10 applications-Experience with usability evaluations and testing-Experience with building and maintaining client relationships in a team-based government and professional services environment-Experience with print design-Experience with participating in hackathons-Experience with developing digital data visualizations -Experience with SASS, JavaScript, or jQuery-Knowledge of JavaScript plugins-Possession of excellent technical problem-solving skills-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills Clearance Drupal 10 Maintenance and Support ServiceApplicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
