Pixeldust Interactive contribution: Application design, development, data organization, and AI integration

01 / The problem

## What the business needed to solve.

The Australian Shepherd Club of America manages registration information across several application types. Staff needed to move between spreadsheet records, website guidance, and client emails to answer routine questions. Finding a record was only part of the job: they also needed to understand its status, identify missing information, and decide what to do next.

### The objectives

- 01 Bring registration records into an editable, organized workspace

- 02 Connect everyday client questions to trustworthy source information

- 03 Make outstanding work and follow-up needs visible to administrators

02 / The solution

## A more useful digital experience.

Pixeldust Interactive built an ASCA-specific implementation of Maisy around the office’s daily tasks. The application brings a conversational knowledge hub, a registration workspace, a reference library, and an operational dashboard together in ASCA’s visual style. It organizes 898 registration records across Litters, Individuals, Other Reg, and LEP, alongside information captured from 111 ASCA website pages.

01 / Ask a question, follow the source
### Ask a question, follow the source

Staff can ask Maisy a client’s question in plain language. Answers connect relevant ASCA guidance with matching records and provide links to source pages, registration details, email addresses, and other useful references.
02 / Find and update the right record
### Find and update the right record

A searchable queue and practical filters help staff narrow the registration list. Record details bring application information, status, notes, missing items, and follow-up fields into one editable view.
03 / See the work behind the totals
### See the work behind the totals

The dashboard combines application totals, outcomes, application mix, intake trends, and the age of open work. Clickable figures and an action center lead directly into the records that need review.
04 / Turn an answer into a client reply
### Turn an answer into a client reply

Email drafting creates an ASCA response to the client’s question. Staff review the wording, then copy it or open a populated message in their configured email application, including Outlook when it is the default.
05 / Keep recurring answers close
### Keep recurring answers close

Common questions sit alongside the conversation, while the reference library keeps ASCA and Programs information available. Office-task links lead to the relevant forms, fees, and contact pages.
06 / Keep staff in control
### Keep staff in control

The interface distinguishes recorded outcomes from review flags. Missing or conflicting information remains visible, and staff make the decisions about record changes and outgoing replies.

03 / Business value

## How the work helped the business.

The application is organized around the decisions a small office makes each day: what a client needs, where an application stands, and which record needs attention next.

01
### A shorter path from question to action

Staff can move from a client inquiry to supporting guidance, the relevant registration, and a draft reply within the same application.
02
### A clearer view of outstanding work

Administrators can inspect open applications, unanswered requests, unassigned work, and records requiring verification without interpreting the entire workbook row by row.
03
### Answers that can be checked

Source links and direct record access make it possible to review the evidence behind an answer before updating a record or replying to a client.

04 / Technology

## Tech stack & capabilities.

A dedicated ASCA application connects structured registration data with website knowledge. Maisy retrieves relevant context for an answer, while the interface keeps source material and record actions accessible to staff.

The takeaway

Useful AI for a small office connects an answer to the record, the source, and the next action.
