We have a Drupal view that has a page with a URL of /newsroom. This view has been around for some time and has some exposed filters. Along the way, the filters got changed. We have some bots that keep trying some URLs with the old query parameters like:
/newsroom?created=&created_1=&field_article_date_value[min]=&field_article_date_value[max]=&keys=&page=26&search_api_fulltext=&title=&type_1=All
This causes Drupal to have a fatal error and the request crashes. Naturally, I would like to stop the errors from occurring. My thinking is that the best way to fix this would be in the .htaccess file but I stink at writing redirects.
Basically, what I want to do is if the request is for /newsroom and it has the query parameters field_article_date_value[min] or field_article_date_value[max] then send them to just the /newsroom with no parameters at all. Can anyone suggest .htaccess rules that would achieve this outcome?
